Handmade Wire Jewelry Workshop: DAI COMMUNITY,26TH JANUARY

This year, the first phase is to establish a more organised structure by having a coordinator, facilitator, teacher and crafter. We had two meetings the first two weeks in january where we met new crafters who are interested to continue on the journey we started.
One crafter who started with me, Tang Lin has already moved on to greener pastures and she is now settled into the USA. Soon it will be Esther's turn and Mary's. Before that happens we would like both of them to past on the skills they have learned from me to the other women of Dai community so that the foundation we started to create a small craft  business for the women of Dai community will not stop when the women are relocated to their new home countries.

Handmade Wire Jewelry Workshop: DAI COMMUNITY,19TH JANUARY

Yes, the journey continues with the women of Dai community :)

on my last visit to them last year, i manage to teach them some knitting! and i am so proud of esther for she finished the simple knitted vest and even started to play around with the KNIT and PURL stitches to make another vest!
